2017 replacement wing mirror

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a 2017 Octavia which has heated wing mirrors and is electric however it is not power folding.

I need this replaced and I have been scouring eBay and what I am not sure about the items listed as few seem to be described as heated so I'm not sure if all wing mirrors from 2013+ are now heated or if there's any way to tell which are heated without relying on the description of the sellers without looking at the donor car itself.

Is anyone able to point me to the right direction with what the part number should be or a picture of the wiring loom/connector so I can be doubly sure before I buy anything ? Majority of the wing mirrors have a 6 wire look but one's selling as heated/electric and one's selling without this all seem to have 6 wire connectors.

Unfortunately I'm not in a position to be able to take the old one off the car until I am in a position to replace it otherwise that would be my ideal solution.

Hi @Shuggy81uk

I've got a driver's side 2016 electrically heated, electrically-adjustable but NOT electrically folding, right hand driver's mirror assembly for sale on eBay, ex my now-sold vRS estate. I fitted electrically folding mirrors to that hence this is available. There is a picture on the eBay listing of the connector. Search for "genuine Skoda Mk3 vRS right hand driver's wing mirror assembly - black".

It has got six wires:

yellow, white, red, black/blue, black/red and white/brown.

This might assist you!

Cheers

Hi @steelyboy

Thanks for that, it helped me determine that I think all 6 wire connectors have heated mirrors, non power folding mirrors and electric so managed to pick one up at a scrap yard for a pretty good price.

Have a good one!
