  6. Just wondering how long it takes skoda uk to reply on average to a customers email, i've been waiting a few days upto now, anyone else share thier experiences please
  7. I'm still going to check when i pick mine up
  8. Like ive said above i cant work thier system out, i ordered mine on 17th sept last year and have had two build dates pushed back and at this moment in time dont even have a build week...
  9. Phoned my skoda dealer and asked if the foils were going to be on my yeti when it arrived he said skoda are fitting them at the factory now, and have done on other models for ages, he also said he couldnt understand why the yeti was not prefitted with these foils before
  10. We ordered ours on the 17th of sept 2010 and still dont have a confirmed build date
  11. my skoda dealer said its had build weeks but niether were confirmed thus have both been pushed back, they are now awaiting another and hopefully final build week for me even though the 6 month wait does settle in march
  12. It is wierd if thats the case, something like this would make ours and the dealers life a lot simpler wouldnt it
  13. the dealer said its the same system that they get the info from, so i assumed the SLI numbers could be used nationally.
  14. I apologise if this is already known about or posted on here, i have posted it on another thread as part of an answer, but i thought maybe it'd help better if it had its own thread. The dealer gave a means to track my order, he gave me what he called an SLI number which i believe is the order number, and a website called trackmyskoda found here http://www.trackmyskoda.co.uk/ you put your SLI number in the searchbox provided and it gives you the current situation of your order, apparently it gives you a build week first, but this can be pushed back or brought forward untill you get the build week confirmed. the next bits of information are build complete/then in transport or at dockside/ then where ever they store them for the dealers in the uk and finally at the dealers. Heres what my order currently looks like Model: Yeti S 2.0 TDI CR DPF 110 PS 5G Man (Please note that vehicle options are not shown) Exterior Colour: Orange Tangerine Metallic Status: No Assignment of a Build Week Build Week: 0 (Please note: The first 4 digits above are the year and the last 2 are the week number i.e a number above of '201101' would be week 01 of the year 2011. Please note that build weeks may or may not be confirmed and are subject to change. Please check back on regular intervals.) Check another order status below Please enter your reference number (SLI Number) as supplied into the box below to check your order status: hope this helps if it hasnt already been posted EDIT:apparently someone says on here thats this method is limited to to dealers in south yorkshire, no harm in trying though is there
  15. Hello im new to this forum, i found it by accident after using google to search for how long does it take skode to build a car, We ordered our Yeti S 2.0 TDI CR DPF 110 PS 5G Man on september the 17th 2010 and was told it would be here for mid december, when it got close to mid december the delivery date got pushed back to mid january. We called them around mid jan and were told due to VW only sending skoda a limited amount of diesel engines the production was delayed yet again now to mid feb....I bet you can guess what happened when we called into the dealers in mid Feb?, yep the delivery date is now pushed back to mid march. This time the dealer did give a means to track my order though, he gave me what he called an SLI number which i believe is the order number, and a website called trackmyskoda found here http://www.trackmyskoda.co.uk/ you put your SLI number in the searchbox provided and it gives you the current situation of your order, apparently it gives you a build week first, but this can be pushed back or brought forward untill you get the build week confirmed. the next bits of information are build complete/then in transport or at dockside/ then where ever they store them for the dealers in the uk and finally at the dealers.
