  1. Hi all

I know its a little sad but would like to fit a boost gauge , quite liked it on the ST. So does anyone know of a single pillar pod or Vent pod for the Mk2 Fabia Vrs or is it possible to have this displayed on the Maxidot by using VCDS.

    Help appriciated

  2. Guys had the VRS for a couple of weeks now and absolutly love it. I have a question regarding sport mode. Whilst sport really transforms the car I find that when you revert back to steady driving it will stay really high in the revs. Yes you can use paddles to shift up however it soon reverts back to sport and drops a few cogs.

So can you select sport then select D whilst on the move??

  3. Well I called Skoda uk spoke do a nice guy phill , apparently spoke to him a few times , expressed my concerens strongly to him and top service he was straight on to the dealer but he was out training. Anyway apparently because my car has a deliver date of 3 weeks in the past it won't flag up for a transporter???? Skoda uk have said this is totally unacceptable and will be sorting this out tommorow .normal delivery from Grimsby 7-10 days mine has been 16-17 now . 6:30 tonight have voicemail from dealer apologising and said he was ready to give me an update ( will be calling him first thing tomorrow)

I think I will be pushing for free car matts and tank of fuel for the **** up..... What do you think

  4. Ding - i may have asked you before but where did you order from, It seems rediculas that week 16 builds are bieng delivered yet our which were build week 14 arnt?

I think i will be calling Skoda Uk and the dealer tomorrow and kicking up a stink?

  5. if you car is unfortunately written of within the first 12 month the insurance company will pay the true value or replace with a new car.

GAP - personally i get this over the Internet there are much better GAP policys out there and cheaper. the dealer over charge, thats why they will negotiate down on price. Also be sure you know what type of gap you are getting .

Finance GAP - will clear of any finance above what your insurance pay out (market Value) = (shortfall)

Back to invoice GAP - Will pay out the actual purchase price of the car - this will enable you to walk away with a bit extra cash if the unfortunate happens.

The latter is the more expensive but far better cover.
