30605 is the code to calibrate the sensor
-
It needs a full engine diagnostic scan to determine the problem, anything else would be guesswork
-
Shows just how useful vcds is.

?http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4545142-01273-Fresh-Air-Blower-(v2)-35-00 Could be a fault with A/C Relay, check out this thread

It is important not to let the high pressure fuel pump on the common rail engine to run dry even for a short time, the above method of switching the key on and off does prime the system for you, if you have vcds it is possible to run the low pressure pump in the tank for 30 seconds which is the best method.

As above easy bleed makes job simple
-
As above,
the hose is rubbing on something to cause that damage
-
Instructions are available on the Ross Tech Wicki website to do forced regen of the dpf.

1.4tdi is a very good engine with no known problems, I have just reached 50,000 miles on mine and never had an issue wiyh it, 55-60 mpg as long as you dont go above 70 mph. Pulls and performs very well for its size.
-
I have a 1.4 tdi Roomster, cant say ever noticed any turbo lag car pulls well in any gear above 1500 rpm. fuel consumtion 55 to 60 mpg over the last 30,000 miles. Just love the car.
-
Hope you like your Roomster, yes the front end is a the same as a Fabia along with the engine and drive train, the rear axle and suspension shares a lot of parts with the Octavia. The workshop manual for the fabia should cover most of what you need. There are electronic manuals available that cover the Roomster
-
I find the Roomster just perfect for transporting my dalmatian about, plus its load space is so versatile.and 55mpg
-
At 122,000 miles I would say it needs a new dpf, think I have read somewhere that they are good for about 80-90,000 miles with sensable use. I think your daily routine has extened its life very well.
-
Hi,
Is that two thousand five hundred pounds you have been quoted
-
Hi,
It's not listed on the vag-tech site as being suitable for the Roomster, only late model vw's. But a skoda dealer would know for sure..

vcds will pick up stored faults and with a fabia Mk 1 yoo can use vcds lite which is free and a £20 pound cable from Gendan.
-
The fact that you are getting warning lights on tells me that the car needs to go on a diagnostic scanner to determine the fault.
-
This is perfecty normal, if the ecu detects movement when the the brake pedal is operated the revs are increased to prevent the high compression factor of the diesel engine causing exsess engine braking, which in turn prevents undue wear on the driveshaft components.
This info is taken from the VAG self study website.

Found it a quote from a "DieselV6" post in an old thread -
Older 2.5 engines do have a lift pump, post-2004 (BDG) do not have one, just bigger pickup.
Even more confusing, eh?
Surprised myself that their is one, but 2005 2.5 diesel does show one in the parts program, another check shows none fitted to 2004 model but fitted to 2005 model..

Hi,
A check on Ekta, the parts program, does show a intank pump on the 2.5, cost is £253.01 including vat,. part number is 4B0906087AT Could be a wiring fault to pump or bad connector.
Hope this helps.

-
The information you have beeen given is right, the 6Q pump was dropped in 2008 and replaced with the 6R unit.you will also need a new mounting bracket 6R0-423-845, about £32.
Hope this helps.

Hi.
Engine ecu will default to run off either crank or camshaft sensor if one fails
