  1. I bought me a 1.2 HTP 69hp for my son and it had a new timing chain. It was not the fastest car and every month lazier. I measured the compression and the third cylinder had poor compression. I removed the head and the outlet valves of the 3rd couldn't closed because of soot deposits (E10 !). Took out all the valves, cleaned the head and made in & outs and the combustion part smoother . There were 3 different inlet valves and 4 were bend ! So 6 new in and airbox of my F2 VRS. The "tuner" measured 73hp. Then software manipulation and we arrived at 90BHP !
  2. How many miles? Water pump ? Time to change the distribution chain ?
  3. Troubles with my sons Fabia 2 1.2/12V from 2012 (CJPA). Suddenly the EPC light went on, power loss and 3th cilinder failed. New spark plugs, coil and injector replaced, still same error. With a test I've seen low compression. Took off the head and an exhaust valve could not be closed due to the soot (EURO 95). All the valves out for inspection and cleaning: the exhaust ones where oké, 4 of the intake where bent and 2 strange model. Cleaned and polished the head, the valves in place and reassembling te engine. Result: same problem. Leak and compression test perfect, spark plug with coil out of the block, no ignition for the 3th, finally I found a broken wire in the loom 4cm near the (coil) connector. Soldered a piece of wire and the Fabia purrs like a kitten. Yesterday I mounted the air filter box of my Fabia 2 VRS into the 1.2 and a SW upgrade gives a nice 24 horses more (was 69, now 93@4651 rpm) and 151Nm@3636 rpm. So very happy with these result all the work and time putten in the head and dis/reassembling.
  4. As I have a Fabia 2 with CGPC (1.2 12V 69bhp)engine and I'm looking to "turbo-it". No news from Bhsm? Somebody else who made it?
  5. Apart from weight moving (battery in the boot and 25kg iron removed from the back), I mounted a Friedrich Motorsport exhaust system and TSR air filter kit. And then a stage 1 chip tuning.
  6. So, 227PS(224bhp)/5742rpm and 337,95Nm/2966rpm are the results of the small changes to the VRS.
  7. Thank you, cable is already on the inner side. Now the problem is how to route the cable to the trunk. I ordered tools (Amazon) to remove inner trim, as the cable came in nicely under the dash near the hood release (LHD) and I began to put it under the plastic part under the door (base pillar ?).
  8. So with the battery in the boot and no ballast at the rear, I think the front /rear weight ballance will be unchanged but about 20kg lighter. With an added lightness of a weight drop (my body) of 5kg the acceleration goes down by 2msec 🤩 . The air filter box is is also changed (lighter), battery tray replaced by connection plate. In the trunk I had to add the Polo/Ibiza battery mounting assembly. Concerning corner speed, with the 245/35 on 8.5" ......... no difference. Maybe the rear axle of the Fabia R2 evo will bring improvement. The biggest improvement (day/night) was changing the front brakesto 300mm i.s.o. 288.
  9. The famous 25kg I removed from the back of the VRS
  10. The cable used in Ibiza and Polo GTI is 35 mm2, so I ordered 5m of them. I'll (try) send some pictures of the "work in progress".
  11. I measured 9.5mm with the insulation, copper diameter 6.65mm, so radius 3.325, is 11.05 square time Pi = 35
  12. The diameter of the insulated wire or cable is: 9.5mm
  13. No answer to my question? How to bring the 35mm2 from the motor compartment to the interior, behind ECU? other suggestions ?
  14. On our Fabia 2 1.2 HTP (69hp) the fuel indicator stays always on full. I disconnected the connector under backseat (pump assembly) and it doesn't change. Problem behind the dash ? Broken wire/connection ? Erreesse
