If he has the box on his 53 plate elegance, then I have no idea how it got there. It was only specc'ed to the Edition 100 that came out 2 years later. Was your dads an import?
This may answer the last 2 posts....you should have dsp options in your head unit. If its sat nav then you will see "pop rock jazz, driver dynamic sound selection etc). If you dont have sat nav, then there is a seperate control box.
If you claim to have the amp on the 53.....investigate the head unit for clues, this could be the first of its kind! It was never an option you could buy in the UK.

Its the DSP Nokia Decoder / Amplifier. It cannot be replaced, its an integral part of the system.
Funny enough, DSP is a

Edition 100 means commemoration of 100 years of manufacturing automobiles by Skoda. (Actually 1905 to 1925 under Laurin&Klement brand, then Skoda...) Nothing to do with a number of vehicles produced or imported elsewhere...
I understand that, and thats not really what we are talking about here. The Edition 100 is a Limited edition model of just 500 examples worldwide, of which 200 reside in the uk. All I was wondering was, could you tell the production number of the vehicle, ie. No. 368/500. Apparently my local dealer thinks you can, and is investigating it as we speak...

I like it, where did u get it from?

Why didnt they sell?

I know the one, and its listed by Skoda as a "coolbox", was just trying to clear up the fact its different to the minibar!
-
I beg to differ, the picture in the official skoda catalogue clearly shows a hella product on the rear seat with the armrest up. It is described as "Minibar deluxe drinks cooler, secured by standard seats belt. Capacity 6 Litres. (ZGB 000 065 401 A)

Actually just found it.....

The one in the middle of the 3 pictures (6ltr) is exactly the same as the one in the skoda accessory catalogue....skoda price

Thats what i thought, but there isnt. They are much rarer than anni's too. I wonder if you can tell production number from the chasis number?
-
Yes, according to the pics, the minibar sits between the rear seats....although it looks like it has a "Hella" product logo on the sides buddy, so Im sure you will be able to get them at a good price yourself!
The exhaust is a proper sports exhaust according to the "Dealer" press release I saw, so it should be a proper backbox. The edition 100 is just a diesel exhaust with chrome twin pipe trim. If I remember correctly, the price on the exhaust was approximately £250. The edition 100 pipes are down swept, the sports exhaust was two chrome pipes that point straight out.
Hope that helps.

Hey Baker, good to see some uk-mkivs.net guys here!
Basically the badges are identical to that of a normal superb, but it also has "edition 100" badging along the front wings by the indicator.
I was just thinking of removing the rea "Superb" and "1.9tdi" badge from the rear for 2 reasons:
1. the rear looks so much cleaner and executive without them (or at least in photoshop), people really would have no idea what the car MODEL was (im not ashamed to say its a skoda, but its funny when people have no clue as to WHAT skoda!)
2. the car looks like it has has a big engine due to its size, i feel that the "1.9tdi" badge may undermine its authority on the road!!!
Ideas?

I was thinking of removing the rear "superb" and "1.9 TDI" badge from my Edition 100, and leaving all other badges in place, I personally think it would smooth the rear a little, but is should I be doing this to an Edition 100? Are they better left alone?
-
Seeing as the Edition 100 is a limited editon of 200 in the UK, and 500 in total, is there anyway of knowing what number you have? I.e. production number 1/500?
-
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I was at the Local dealers and there are two things you may find interesting...
1. The new Superb brochures show pictures of accessories that havent been pictured before...i.e the minibar, telephone kit, ice box and rear spolier.
2. Im friendly with the dealer and he showed me some "hot off the press" Skoda information, Skoda now do an official twin pipe Superb sports exhaust!
Hope that info is of some use to someone!

Hiya peeps!
My cruise control no longer works! Recently I installed a stereo, so is there any chance I could have blown the fuse? If thats the case, does anyone have a fuse diagram....as the octy manual does not list a fuse for the cruise control!
Thanks in advance!

Ive been lurking for a while and finally joined!
What a great place you have here!
My father has just purchsed an Edition 100 Superb 1.9TDI, and I personally drive a VW Golf Mk4 GTI 1.8T.
Ive just added to the Edition 100 thread, listing the full spec of the car.
I look forward to being a part of this forum!

I saw one for the first time yesterday. It doesn't look like they invested much, from memory it seemed to have:

Oz Canyon II's on Superb

Well here is a picture of my recently purchased 19" OZ Canyon II's and I have to be honest, they make the car look amazing!
However there is some good and bad news...The bad news is, the house I put an offer on has become available and I need every penny I can get to sort the deposit out, and that means the wheels have to go (along with several other cherished items, like my afterburner arcade machine!), but the good news is, I have put them on ebay with no reserve so they are there if anyone wants them!

On a more serious note, in my opinion I think these wheels do alot for the Superb, making it look classy and sporty. What do you guys think?
