Engine flush ?
No, we never advise it. Occasionally we will get something that we use a flush on (hell peugoet 1.2 .....) all you need to do is use good quality oil, ignore long life and stick to 10k services.

Sat Nav - Gone
So yesterday my 2016 L&K decided it no longer wanted to recognise it had Navigation, Mirror Link that worked fine decided it now needed an Activation code despote working fine for 6 months and the Telephone function is no longer available. Nothing has changed, been updated its just stopped ...... Only fault codes stored are B200DF0 Function restriction due to internal communication error B126CF Navigation system navigation bank not activated I'm going to try and connect to the house wifi tonight and see if it can update the software, next step is a hammer, any other ideas before I have to order a new dashboard ?

About to embark on Skoda ownership, Superb L&K Estate
Well that was a long read, we had an A4 in last week that had snapped its rear roll bar, its a first for us. I've never seen one as rusty as this underneath, mines a 2016 and nothing like this. Rear springs - you don't need to use compressors, remove the bolts, jack under the arm and lower it. Those compressors work well on Fiestas though !!

Front assist Sensor and Bracket. Superb3
I thought they needed calibraiting, if its the same set up as a Golf - we had to use someone who was £300 and in the workshop for 20 minutes. We find if you don't turn the ignition on with the sensor disconnected then it doesn't throw up a fault code. I presume you have cleared all fault codes and driven it ?

Dealer Issues
Stick to 10k/12 months on the service, long life intervals are bad for engines.

Cambelt Change Interval (1.4 TSi ACT)
Belts on these seem to be pretty good, I think its something like every 180/200k on these, on the diesel i would be sticking to 4/5 years or 80k as they can and do break. Service wise, stick to 10k or 12 months regardless of oil, extended service intervals are not good for engines.

Looking to buy a superb
Although VW Group have changed the interval for time and distance to just distance i'd still be changing the belt and pump every 5 years. They seem to be weak on the 2.0.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Filled mine up too ... it works out as just under 26mpg ... it also got a wash.

Superb 2.0 tsi 280 4x4 misfire
Based on that, clear the codes swap coil pack 1 with coil pack 2 and give it a run. If you still get misfire cylinder 1 then swap the coil pack and swap spark plug 1 with spark plug 4. If that doesn't work then its possibly an injector.
