Trades ins at the end of the month doesn't really happen they just come in. From the dealer perspective you do get some silly offers from customers, you will also find if you use the autotrader valuation tool it's not always accurate, it's optimistic some times both in over valuing and under valuing cars. every enquiry should be responded to within 24 hours and if a car is sold then just a quick email to say so helps, at least that way customers know the email has got through and they are not being ignored. We will also send videos by what's app and any specific pictures of the car. There are some good dealers out there and some bad, it's just like everything else in life.

It's a shame jabba are taking so long, I live reasonably close to them and they always look after our tt, I've tried contacting them but it's almost impossible to get them, I'm not the only one either.

I have a witter zx200 bike rack, granted I don't use it on a yeti bu it sat on the back of a 206 very easy. I'd rather have the bikes on the bak than stuck inside.

Autocar - 4Wheel drive Vs Winter tyre results
stevetdci replied to HWMBO - Mark's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
It would have been good if they added a 2wd yeti on summer tyres, then we could have seen the differences in braking and steering -

Any high mileage 100,000 plus 1.6 CR out there
stevetdci replied to skippy41's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Not got one that high yet, I think 50k is the highest we have but it's only a year and half old. No problems as of yet. -
EVO Magazine 1.8TSI review
stevetdci replied to Ultima's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Seems a strange one not bringing the 1.8 to the uk. Audi use it and seat are putting it in the new Leon. Going on looks I think I would take the new Leon over the Octavia -
Jetex are underrated and offer favoured by milltek, but I had a mild steel system ages ago and quality and fit was perfect, it even survived someone running into the back of it and squashing the exhaust.

Both my cars are serviced yearly, I've never been a fan of long life. Renault and pug/Citroen have recently announced that services will revert to yearly or a set mileage.

Check the tyre pressures too, and also the air filter is clean

I think the old 1.9 tdi is more economical, I wouldn't mind betting the 2.0 tdi would be low 30's. My a3 tdi would average 37 on my daily commute, the cupra averages 27/8 mpg
