  1. Have a look at the video herehttps://video.citnow.com/vt-PrkqwhG0
  2. Quick one as busy playing with the tech!!
  3. Yeah the dealer did it for my wife's Citigo too which was sweet as we were on holiday so she had to wait for a few days knowing it was ready! No idea on the roof but happy to measure it tomorrow when I get it!!!
  4. Video from my dealer of my new motor!! https://video.citnow.com/vt-PrkqwhG0
  5. My car will be ready on Saturday! yes this Saturday!!! being prepped now! whoop! is it Saturday yet???
  6. sooo if I insist my dealer gets my car to me before the end of September then regardless what he says I just ring up the insurance and claim it???
  7. Dealer just got back to me and said its not valid with the other promotion of zero percent pcp!
  8. I asked my dealer to make sure my car is ready by the 30th and he hadn't heard of this offer. He is currently thinking about it as believes it may not relate to a zero percent pcp deal. But yeah I agree with your thoughts!!
  9. I would say though the space in the wheel arches is huge with the standard wheels and no sports suspension! I think the estate may ride higher than the hatch?
  10. My car is still 2 weeks away but my dealer had a Monte Carlo estate in so I thought I would pop down as I haven't actually seen one in the metal! Not sure I like the white myself but love the black touches! Estate looks proper grown up too!
  11. Oh that's annoying! Just read the online manuals and it says specifically that the fabia has one slot located in the side of the glovebox and is used for Sat nav like you have just discovered!
  12. Some guys on here are waiting 16 weeks or so until November for estates. My estate was officially ordered by me about 4 weeks ago but actually the dealer ordered it more like 8 weeks ago. Lead time seems to have gone up now. Not sure about the hatch version
  13. My car is built! Just waiting for a boat to the uk. Bit excited now!
  14. My dealer ordered mine for his stock the day it was announced and then tailored the order and moved it to me. What a nice man! I would go crazy waiting until November!!
  15. My dealer just confirmed my car is being built in the factory This week
  16. my monte estate with Amundsen sat nav is due to arrive around the end of September, will be able to confirm then!!
  17. that looks really smart!!! Wasn't sure how the black would look, but you've answered it with bl**dy lovely! Really like all the angles they have put into the new fabia. Counting down the days until my estate is ready!!!
  18. I was told the Amundsen has mirrorlink by my dealer but that might not mean anything but just found this that looks quite useful if its correct! also answers your question about having dual SD card slots too. http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-gb
  19. Yeah end of September... it was probably one of the first non demonstrator orders to go in about a day after the Monte Carlo was officially announced. You probably got a better deal than me though as the dealer had me hooked!!
  20. Hi all after 10 years away from Skoda ownership (i had an Octavia 4x4 turbo back in the day) I bought the wife a citigo Monte Carlo last month and just ordered my red fabia Monte Carlo estate 110 tsi last week! As I had been sweet talking the dealer for a bit since the citigo purchase I should get mine delivered end of september! Can't wait! It was going to be dealer stock car but as he knew the spec I wanted it magically changed to my car I ordered the cruise, sat nav, sports suspension, elec windows and spare wheel as extras. Apparently the sat nav option has now gone up to 500 quid!! Mad.
  21. Seat.... sorry a SEAT, you know an ibiza thing. ok, not a seat on the island of Ibiza but an actual real car in the mighty shape of a 1.4 '00 reg. At least it will be when I pick it up on Sat. Long story but I found a trader who took the 4x4 off my hands for a good price, and gave me a rover 25 for my troubles plus some nice cash. Unfortunately the 25 lived up to its reputation and in the 3 weeks I had it, it went back to the trader for most of that time. but he was a good chap and when I said enough was enough, he showed me the delights of the ibiza he had, and sorted me a nice deal for my troubles, and so the story ends happily (fingers crossed for sat) So I will be hanging out on the SEAT forums from now on. Cheers for all the help, it was a sad day to see the octy go, was a lovely car, but nevermind, needs must. Mark
  22. maybe thats the difference between a vRS and a 4x4 then...
  23. I used to have a toyota celica GT-4 old old style one, and to the boys on the GT4OC, the new toyota celica just never lived up to what they thought it should have been. too soft, too hairdresser, front wheel drive etc etc. But that aside, I think its a pretty good car for what it is. One thing I would say, is that are you sure its smaller than the Octavia?? sure it probably looks sleeker and smaller, but I have a feeling that its suprisingly large. Check out the dimensions first! have you compared it to the hyundai coupe? on paper look similar, might be interesting for you to try them both to satisfy you that the celica is good.
  24. Might go have a look at that, cheers! - EDIT just had a look and its 4k, kinda what I was expecting so one dealer was on the money, the others were a long way off. So now to find someone who actually thinks they can sell my car and offers me similar money with something interesting in exchange. of course! its not on here, not yet being a freedom member, and its probably not the right place to sell it anyway unless someone wants a 2nd skoda in their garage (or wants to prove me wrong), but will be going on autotrader soon. Although again not sure if it will sell or what to advertise it for based on the last weeks trade in prices. And also what with a new baby coming along in erm.. oh blimey, its days.. is not the ideal time to suffer tyre kickers and fools, hence looking at a quick and easy trade.
