Thanks for the tips guys but what do u mean by a safe shampoo? I currently use Simoniz wash and wax car shampoo. As for the detailing spray looking at Megs Nxt detailer. There are so many available its difficult to know which one to go for...

Thanks I found the Black hole easy to work with and really made the paint look good. Plus it smells a bit like grape! The fk was also nice to work with. Also sealed the wheels in the fk. Anybody know how to make the coat of wax last as long as possible?

Decided to papmper the car this weekend with: Clay bar, Turtlewax Colour magic, Poorboys Black Hole, FK1000P, Chemical Guys trim gel. Took quite a while but pleased with the results. Hope is stays looking good after all that effort!

I used fk1000p on my alloys this morning. I was surprised at how easy it went on. Buffed off beutifully. Topped tyres off with chemical brothers trim gel. Wheels looking sweet now. Just need to do the rest of the car now

Hello, Does anyone know what the difference is between blue detailing tape and standard insulation tape please? I want to wax the car and cover the plastic trim and am thinking of using standard tape. What's the advantage of detailing tape? Less glue residue maybe? Any advice welcome

Yeah also like those embossed retro style badges. I believe they come off the favorite, looked for a set for ages but they are as rare as rocking horse droppings! Upload a pic of your badges when u get em, sound good...

No idea but I have found this on on eBay and they say it fits both the hatch and estate so that possibly indicates the bumpers are the same?

New tyres on the front wheels 2 - 3 New tyres on the back wheels I'm going to the tyre place on Saturday to have my front left alloy swappesd with my spare as it's scuffed so will ask them for an opinion and report back.

Thanks for your input. So 1 opinion is keep best tyres on the back and the other says best tyres on the front. Any more opinions? Let's play best of 5
