Does anyone know if the new Samsung Note II is compatible with MDI? I bought a Micro MDI cable on Ebay, the phone is detected as the display correctly shows the phone model number, but i recieve "device without function" on the Screen after it tries to initialize. Can't seem to find any information on if it works or how to set it up anywhere. If it doesnt work i will have to resort to my Iphone again any information is much appreciated.

Skoda, kindly replaced the Clutch Master Cylinder under warrently. Problem Sorted. Drive happy again!

Hi Guys, I've have a quick search on the forums and i could only find something similar on a Fabia with 100k miles so i thought i'd betters ask... Just recently I've noticed a 'clicking' noise when I engage the clutch and the same noise again on releasing the pedal, i can actually feel it in my foot when it clicks all be it very slight. Its just over a year old, with 12k miles on the clock. I had it serviced about 3 months ago as i changed it to annual service seeing as it was paid for... and i have only just noticed it this week. Does anyone have any ideas? before i take it to the dealer. I may be nothing, but my OCD will prevent me from ever enjoying a drive in it any more lol. :think: Cheers.

i drove the Octy 1.6 for a few months while i was waiting for my VRS to arrive. It was a really nice drive to be honest. Pretty punchy at low revs which tapered off higher up the rev's as you would expect without a turbo. Only thing is i was lucky if i got 36mpg(depending on where you drive ofc) plus the road tax for a petrol is nearly double what i pay for my Diesel VRS. The 1.4 TSi i would expect to be a tad better than the 1.6 but i'd have to say i'd always go for a diesel, its not just because im tight...honest, i like the torque from the diesel

i've only done 1070 miles in my car from new, i've been driving it conservatively since i got it to allow the engine to bed in (appart from the odd blip of power here and there.) i wouldn't have expected the DPF to kick in 4-5 times already on this kind of distance. Also i after reading the manual it does confirm the DPF light should come on when performing a cleaning cycle, which in my case did not. Maybe just cooling from doing a stop start journey and not getting enough cool air through the engine at speed.

Just before i ring Skoda and look like a complete muppet i thought i might ask the question on here. Sometimes not every journey, when i complete my journey and get out the car the cooling fans are running at full blast making the car sound like its about's to take off. This runs for at least 10 minutes. Its only happened about 5 times so far since getting the car and wierdly it seems it happens when i have had the internal fans running. (not A/C). In fact today i had a phone call from someone at work asking me if i'd left my engine running in the car park!! (made me check for my keys...) :S Never having an Octy before i was just wondering if anyone else had the same thing. Or if this is completely normal to cool the turbo or something down. Also picked up mine on 26th May after the third attempt at visiting the garage that day. (bit keen...) MY12 CR TDI on the paperwork (Candy White) Mine has TPM silver kick plates with VRS on, I think the gear shift is shorter Also the gear shift is black with silver surround like the elegance, insead of the silver/chrome top :( Dunlop tires :( Ordered it 28th september last year (short wait lol) got an elegance to drive for free for 4 months as the order was delayed Chuffed to bits with mine
