I'd just like to say thanks to Linday who's sending me out a couple of freebies for my trouble... @carefree this is how vinyl works... u peel the sticker and backing paper off the waxier paper/card then place the sticker, rub down the backing paper and carefully peel away the backing paper, Im sure a google on applying vinyl will show up some hints and pics

  8. Alot of lads here reckon it was business related, ie: not a yob but a deliberate attempt to harm the driver concerned, gardai are allgedly looking into it... :(

  11. vinyl is the only way to go, u will have to make a vector image though rather than a photshop image (raster) illustrator is a good program for doing this...

  13. I do Any site admin know if I can upload an .ai file (perfect for vinyl stickers) to the site for everyone to use? this is the logo, its a genuine Skoda logo lifted from some WRC pdfs I had...

  18. Kim Colins is an MTM agent, very well respected in Germany (mtm), QST have been tuning Audis for donkeys years and have a very good reputation... AFAIK they only offer MTM options which I assume are pricer due to TUV approval (just guessing)

AFAIK powder coating is applied electricaly so should be there for life, Sand blasting though would most likely remove it, paint and filler (previous repairs maybe) from the wheels so the scrathes gouges etc would have to be repaired again... if you plan on getting them done then it wont do any harm to leave em as is for a while... there is also a crowd up north that do this (cant remember name at mo) I have seen uk prices for refurb at
