Only BMW that looks good these days is the 6er Grancoupe and the last really good looking BMW was the E24 635Csi (I'm over 40)

Will this affect Mercedes as well? They use the 1.5DCi from Renault don't they?
Indeed they do but I think only in the A- and B classes

If I could put a whole bank of solar cells on my house roof I would get a GTE or a Teslar (now they have a Scottish dealer).......

None of the above, set my sat nav to find a café and go have a coffee in the hope that I never encounter them again (my nearest motorway is the M90 120 miles away so i'm rarely on it)

It's amazing how far Hot hatches have gone in the past 20 years....
In 1995 the Clio Williams was king with 150ps top wack of 134MPH and 0-62 in just under 8 seconds, now hot hatch needs to have 190ps to even be considered a hot hatch....

It only seems like 5 minutes since you got the silver one!
Nice to see the LED headlights on this one, will be interested to see what you think of them.
It's actually just over 2 years since I got the silver 1.2TSI
The LED headlights are really good and light up the road well, which is important as living where I am there are not any motorways or dual carriageways (nearest DC is Inverness and nearest Motorway is Perth) so all of my commute is A Roads and town and in winter all of that is in the dark...
After having the car for a few days I am enjoying it greatly but as it is winter and the car is not run in properly yet I haven't been giving it a proper run, which I hope to do next week if we get good weather, tried the sat nav system a few times it seems ok compared to the garmin unit I used to have in the old car(keeping that for trips abroad when I hire cars)

Yeah It's an FR 1.4 EcoTsi (150) and has the Cylinder On demand thingy that cuts 2 cylinders while cruising, Smooth to drive only done 90 miles or so today gonna get more pics and have a good drive in it Tomorrow (my first ever Brand new car...)

Go for it, we have got the same but the ST version, impressed so far. Don't believe the quoted MPG figures though as they are optimistic. The combined cycle is supposed to be 60mpg, we get 44-45 ish, I think that is the same with most manufactures figures though.

Thanks I see you went for the 18" alloys, I am sticking with the standard 17s so hopefully will be getting closer to 50 mpg I currently get in my 1.2 TSI

Thought about getting a brand new Logan MCV 2 years ago went to the showroom had a look at the sandero they had inside (the logan was out on a test drive), went out side saw a nearly new Megane test drove it instead ut didn't get a good price for the Kia Cee'd I had at the time so didn't go any further with either the Logan or the megane and ended up in getting the Seat Leon a week later and ive never looked back since... though I am considering a Volvo V40 next time round or Octavia if I don't go for another Leon

The ones in my old punto worked when they felt like it and it passed 2 MOTs but this was 10 years ago
