  1. My blower motor fuse has melted, but not blown. I've re-terminated the Black/blue wire on the fuse panel and tried another (30A) fuse, and it is still getting hot. My partners Karoq has a 40A fuse in this position, but I'm pretty sure that the 30A was correct for the Octavia. Anywho, I was thinking that I should change either the blower motor or the resistor pack, and was wondering if anyone had a similar issue as I don't really fancy buying both (if I can help it).
  2. As i understand it, the blockage can be caused by the silica bag, casting sand or both. Mine is the same. I’m thinking 2 hose clamps on the bulkhead heater feed and return , swap header tank, flush with treatment, drain down, swap matrix, then refill with g12 evo.
  3. I have a new Iphone 16 (moved from android auto) and whenever I connect carplay, it disconnects the bluetooth connection to the Iphone, which works perfectly and shows a USB symbol. It says Apple Carplay and underneath "No Sim". I can make calls via the carplay screen. Presumably its some kind of sim sharing profile, but no idea why it wouldn't work.
  4. Rather than start a new thread, I'll just add we are having the exact same issue. I video'd the temperature going up, then coming down with the heater, and then it sits at normal values. RRG Bolton won't fix it as they themselves can't see the issue, despite me giving them the video evidence. Surely the fact that there is a known issue with the impeller sleeve, the fact I have video evidence, should be enough for them to fix it? It's out of warranty next month I feel they are just trying to pass the buck. What are the next options here?
  5. Does this camera get a towbar in shot? Not fussy about flipping the image like the highline camera, just the ability to see it enough to hitch.
