Sudden loss of power on 1.9 TDI. Help please!
ACSC replied to helix's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Very similar to what our Furby is suffering from at present, 2 dealers diagnosed it as a leak from an intercooler pipe but it happened again on saturday and the AA cant find anything wrong. ACSC:confused: -
Just had a quote for our 4 yr service @ 37,000 miles and its £296 service and brake fluid with an additional £309.05 for the cambelt that they confirm is due after a policy change last year. Cheers ACSC

Have you got a current price for how much it will cost your buyer to have it coded to their car matey? Cheers AC:)
-
I searched and the last time it came up from what I found was March 2006 with £150/£200 mentioned. I was asking the question incase a more current price had been quoted to anyone. AC:rolleyes:

Does anyone know how much it costs to remap a ONECLICK to another car if I was to sell it on to another Fabia VRs owner? I've tried contacting AMD but had no luck with an email answer or returned call. Cheers ACSC

Hope not as my old CTR went on a few, the Furby was on one on saturday and my scoob will go on the rollers in the next few months ACSC;)

I fancy one of these when you clear up the issues with them. Cheers ACSC:thumbup:

Fly BHP matey, Defo was hot in there and as you say heat soak was a major player, 118 BHP was 94.5 WHP, 138.5 BHP was 113.5 WHP according to the computer print out. Only took the fabia as it was a 2WD road so couldnt take the Scoob. The hondas that were there were also down on power so i wasnt the only one suffering and certainly won the prize for most "torque". Cheers ACSC:)

Back from the meet (R Nicholson Motors, Crowle, Scunthorpe) with: STD, 118.5 BHP + 227 lb/ft ONE CLICKED, 138.5 BHP + 250 lb/ft A little low on the BHP figures but as has been said , RR's vary and it was a very warm day so another variable in the mix. A supercharged CTR gave the operator a shock as it tried to leave the rollers at 100 MPH+!!!! Cheers AC:)

Nice one folks, 250 must be mental!!! Cheers ACSC:)

Going to a rolling road session on saturday and due to a change of venue gonna take the wifey's Furby and not my Scoob (2WD rollers). Anyone run a std car or oneclicked one recently? What figures did you get? Cheers ACSC:)

Not got round to claying the car, waxed with Colonite and a Porter Cable (to make it easy) Want to give it a proper session at some point soon but the Mrs doesnt see why it can take all day to do. Cheers AC:cool:
