I would use the thule ones i use them for windsurfing no problem......in three years they have been great with no problems. i would recommend locks on them though because of the way the mechanism functions. i have been using steel bars because i was too tight to buy the aluminium ones JeZ

it is my one of my only critisms of the yeti....worst still the storage when the luggage space is full......

well it says when you take out skoda finance so i guess why not you could always leave it one day then it wouldn't be classed as cancelled..... JeZ

Yeah that would make sense..you would've thought they'd of used ones that are a different design bearing in mind the vehicle they are fitted in. Bet they've changed the design now :-) JeZ

It is strange this....when i brought my first yeti everyone was complaining about rusty springs so i got an old can of waxoil and sprayed all of them...wonder if this helped? Then again i doubt rust had too much to do with it in such a short time. Even my material science lecturer at Pontypridd would've told me that :-) JeZ

Yeah that goes without saying.....the proof in the pudding in all of this is guessing if the dealer is wanting to do a deal...i push hard walk away wait a few days buy cars at unusual times etc...i've never met a dealer that wasn't prepared to do a deal. I've even met two completely differing sales guys in the same dealerships one that will do a deal, one that doesn't. In in all if you don't do the groundwork before entering a dealership then you're a fool. Have the info at the ready and for every one person that you find that does this, there are 9 others that don't Br JeZ

I did the same except i went for heated seats (diesel in winter takes ages to heat up), tow bar prep. One reason for the se plus was the trays on the back of the front seats. Useful if you have children. My biggest reason was i really didn't want leather seats...sat nav with bluetooth is very useful too.... Br JeZ
