  1. You may want to just check again with the speed traps . I personally like the music choice and the DJ's, as you have said the finish line fireworks are a bit to much. If you have a look at the map it is big and could keep it going for a while. They seem to have improved the drifting slightly in the fact it distinguishes between the use of the hand brake and all out power. the sign smashing is for getting more money off upgrades which is a nice trick as it became annoying in forza 4 every new car you bought had to be driven to gain free upgrades if from a different manufacture.
  2. You can user thinners to rub down the area that has got the blotch on it and re do it.
  3. The hole point of plastidip is that it can be easily removed. So really you don't need to mask anything off. I have done the whole car and only masked the front window and rear window due to wiper blades.
  4. Whey the post man has just been and dropped off these lovelies. Need to sort out a tt intake in that colour now!
  5. Getting the car back at some point this week which I am excited about I miss the car! Well in the mean time here is a picture of the engine bay as it stands. It needs more stickers but its getting there!
  6. Is it that it doesn't have any Porsche goodies on it?
  7. Don't put an iphone bracket on the dash they look stupid! Remind me of a company car/taxi just stick it in the cubby hole!
  8. About 300quid. Thats 10 litres of paint and 10 litres of thinner. I mean thats still over 70% cheaper than getting it professionally sprayed or even wrapped. And its by far the easiest to get off!
  9. Mike, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and to me 10 litres of 1/1 thinners and paint just isn't enough. I haven't taken proper pictures of the car as it's not complete so I'm going reveal it once the wheels are on and alike. Shock and awe!
  10. Finally got a delivery of my fmic after them pushing the delivery date back 2 weeks! Before everyone starts moaning I went with forge for ease of install and no nasty pipes anywhere!
  11. Don't get one that has the motor built into it as it will be heavy get one with a separate motor. You need about 10 litres or black plastdip and 10 litres of plastidip thinners as it has to be 1/1 ratio, I used 5 litres of each and struggled to to get 4 coats on. Ideally you need 5/6. I need to pull mine off and do it again at some stage as I'm not happy with the finish.
  12. Clocked 100000 miles earlier today, off to my local vag specialist vagtune for its yearly service and a few other mods. Stage 2 hybrid mostly!
  13. Yeah those are the things. But you'd only put them on when changing the tire.
  14. There are things you can put over the edges of the rims to stop the people wrecking them. For the life of me I can't remember what they are called though.
  15. Bought myself a piper full exhaust system including cat, slightly worried with the not for road use sign stamped into the cat but I'm sure it will be fine Decided to start the swap before I went to work, stupid idea really. every bolt is rusted on this car so why should the exhaust be any different? I was faced with this... Will get the dremel on it in the morning as there are no nuts in sight!
  16. Mr post man dropped off a lovely whiteline arb this morning Still in the post is a fmic and purple samco hoses.. Things will be coming thick and fast this month!
  17. I like it altho I am partial to a bit of pink!
  18. I don't give out pictures just willy nilly! Yeah I will take some better shots once the wheels are on so you can see the full effect! But until them you will have to just wait! But until then here is a picture after its first wash. It kind of beads but not in the same way!
  19. Hi, They are low well -50mm but compared to some peoples drop the car still looks kind of standard. I will raise them tomorrow and see if that helps. Cheers for that. Would there be any reason as to why they are just bouncy on motorways but hard and sporty on like a/b roads doing same speeds.
  20. Hi all,, Quick question guys, I bought some weitec hicon TX coil overs they have been fitted over a month or so now. I find that the suspension on the back is bouncy and not stiff even with the adjustment turned all the way to hard. it seems to bouncy the same amount as when I turn them way down to soft. I dont want rock hard suspension on the back but it feels like the car is doing endo's when going over bumps on motorways. Is this an issue with the coil overs or is it going to be bush related. I have to chop the bump stops off due to the top of the housing just riding on them.
  21. Yeah they do glow in the dark and all sorts, Wouldn't mind a glow in the dark car would be so much fun!
  22. cheers Gee, It does look evil from the front and back! ohh and how do I go about ordering more stickerness for my car? , I somehow think your's would look better with a matt red on it Yeah matt black just goes with everything!
