Anyone got them, know what they are, had them fitted and are happy with them. Venetian or pleated? How much light do the venetian block out?
So ive seen a couple of our customers get these perfect fit blinds after we have fitted their new double glazing. They look really good and I think they are the best way to keep your blinds out of the way of tilt and turn windows. Ive been googling around trying to find the best prices as I have 8 windows to cover. im looking at roughly £42 a window so for my bedroom that works out at £126 for the 3 panes of glass!
Any companies recommended, Im about to visit my local blind company as Ive already had a quote off them and they are more expensive than all the online retailers for their supply only (it just so happens he knows my dad very well and gave me a decent discount too but still more expensive than online retailers)
Ive found all I want on one website, not sure if im allowed to mention it here, and if I go ahead and purchase online Ill save over £120 so basically one window worth for free. (I am aware that if I buy online I have to assemble, looks easy, four corners eight screws)
Im also a bit worried about aftercare and how much support an online retailer would provide if they started to fall apart within a couple of years, I feel a local firm would provide more support plus I would like to keep business in the area.
Any ideas before I rock up at my local company and waste his time if he cant go any lower.

Its not working, I was waiting until today to spend some not so spare cash on a cool new pair of boots but the code doesnt work.
OK I read the small small print and it says online from the 30th of this month, 2 more days!
Thanks btw

I dont think you will find the same output of LED emitters on aftermarket bulbs as you would find OEM from Audi, ive seen LED dipped and main on Audi A8,s and they are super bright, def up there with HID.
Bulbs that have a blue or any colour coating on the glass actually lower the light output, think about. The blue tint has an effect on eyes of appearing brighter, just get some standard bulbs if your worried about cost.

They have to be registered with the fixed price scheme first, either ask the garage in question before you go guns blazing or call skoda UK and ask them for confirmation.

Ooo I came here looking for some new face cream

Looks good, maybe a bit of spray paint on the screws? Or find some anodized ones the same size

The system needs a couple of rotations of the wheels to reset the sensors on each wheel, as abs, esp and tpms all use the same sensors that is why they all light up

I dunno guys, I really do feel a difference with v power, even compared to regular shell. I fill up the vrs maybe once a month when I do get a chance to drive it after the wife has filled with fuel save.
A couple miles or a few days after I've filled up I can notice the difference in torque and throttle response, it's definitely not a placebo because i often get a nice surprise when I put the foot down and then remember why it's a little more pokey. Not done a test to see if I get more to a tank but I'm not really interested in that as I only cover 10k a year.

I think it is just glue, I saw instructions on how to fit a replacement badge and it was just a sticky backing and pushed on, get the hairdryer out and window razer

Both beams have a kick at the left, drive up to a wall and you should see both beams look the same.

My xenons adjust while driving over bumps, easier to see when doing around 60 on some long smooth jumps and dips, is this what everyone else is saying it doesnt do?

You will need to put silicon on the inside behind the rubber surround, fold it back with your fingers and run a bead right around where the metal comes in contact with the rubber, let it go and it should squeeze the silicon into all the gaps. Doing the outside doesnt solve the problem as there is still air rushing around inside the door cavity and then coming in from around the inside seal.

Like to see how you get on, is this generally to improve throttle response and smooth out gear changes?

What did you type this post on?
@forum, do 1.6 tdi's have dpfs?
-
Im sure you knew about the fact you would need to tax the car and put tyres on it...

OK better idea, plasti dip them black and use the glossifier to make them match the gloss powdercoat on the alloys
-
How much for a refurb!?!?
-
Can they powder coat the centre caps, im sure a wheel refurb shop will have come across having to refurb the centre caps to match clients wheels.
