  1. For some reason this is getting worse on the car and even in dry conditions:confused:.

When driving along, driving over man hole covers, bumps and the usual holes in the road the front wheel goes over them ok but the rear tends to move and kick at the back.

I know that the Fabia Vrs has a very hard ride but it does seem too harsh sometimes, could this have anything to do with it?

The tyres are conti sport contact 2's and still have life in them, could it be the tyre pressure? I have inflated them to what most people put in their Vrs on the search tool.

Could the wheels be out of alignment? I don't think I have ever done this to the car since I have had it since july 07.

    Thanks in advance:) .

  2. Hi peeps,

Just wondering if you guys know of a good and cheap digi camera that I can take with me on going abroad 3 times this year.

I am looking for something quite sturdy, not so big as I am going on the bike and in the price range of approx £100.00 max (dont want one too expensive if it gets lost, stolen, crushed).

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks

  3. Just wondering how quick the car will be as compared to standard after the remap, also has pd160 intake and green filter, will i be impressed??

LOL impressed is not the word mate, you say a lot of words before "....me" for some reason ;) and for a very long time.

  4. Another very happy Angel customer.

With regards to the PD160 intake tbh it did not really need one as it did not tend to smoke that much anyway but does rev more freely.

K & N filter fitted and for some reason seems to be better the more miles I put on it.

The best bit is obviously the huge increase of grunt but I especially like it due to being very smooth which is noticeable around town.

The only downside to getting a remap that I have encountered is you will need new rubber a lot sooner than you think.

  5. I think the car looks spot on, very nice detail....as to looking chavy? I don't see why? He's driving a Vrs!! Since when did your average **** drive one of them?

Out of the fortnightly 'income' I think they would be hard pushed to shell out for one of them after paying for Sky Sports, Sky movies and the loan for the nintendo wii......

  6. What really pi***es me off is the "mother" car driver. I shall explain....There is a 20mph speed limit in my village where countless children have been given a royal "did not see you" scenario and have been injured.

So why do these "mothers" think that once they are at school you can drive 40mph and right up your *** in a 20mph speed limit???.

I ride a motorbike and love speed, I have my car remapped and it is very pokey but when the speed limit says 40 or 30 on an urban area I always stick to that speed.

All of the previous posts I do concur that you will alway get one right up your *** when you stick to 30.

Most peoples house's are in a 30 limit for a reason after all but it is also a great benefit to your VRs if you drive within the speed limit and before you get home leave it idle whilst you get your stuff out of the car.

    Just my 2$

  7. I got the PIAA's and must say they do exactly what it says on the tin.

I believe they tend to last longer than most due to the fact you don't use them often due to the beading and the rain just shims off.

I am happy with them and yes they are expensive but hey only the best will doodle do.
