  1. Same problem I had after over filling the tank. Replaced the evap filter which is next to the tank behind the rear offside wheel arch liner. Car drove without any problems for over a year with the light on the dash. Once I replaced it I cleared the code and no more dash light and sailed through its mot. Think it took about an hour to change and bought genuine vw part online for about £85
  2. There's 10 torx head screws altogether got it replaced (pita getting the pipes off the old one) then cleared the code no problems since and went through it's mot with just an advisory on the brake pads and disks
  3. Has anyone had to change the evap filter that connects to the petrol tank on a mk3 fabia estate. Need to change mine as the fault code shows it's failed due to over filling the tank. I've got the replacement but just wondering how difficult it is to remove the wheel arch liner before the filter can be reached
  4. The part from eBay came with a 12 month warranty. Got the old one out and the new one in (took about 20 minutes after finding my t15 screwdriver) now got working heating again 👍
  5. Checked on skoda parts UK and it is the right part number. They wanted £84 for it. Went onto Ebay and searched the part number and got it for £12.50 Thanks for the information 👍
  6. It looks like the heater control resistor pack may have failed on my 21 plate estate. Was wondering why I wasn't noticing any heat when driving to work. Turns out that the blower only works on number 4 with all others not blowing heat into the cabin. Does anyone know the part number for this resistor pack and also are there any guides for changing it on a mk3 fabia?
  7. I do have a nextbase 422gw dashcam hard wired in the car (can't remember which fuse it was piggy backed to) will have to check if it was permanent live or ignition live. After a 5 mile drive from home to work the charge on the battery had gone from 11.4v to 12.4v so hopefully it'll be a simple case of moving the dashcam power feed to a fuse that is definitely ignition only once one has been found with a multimeter
  8. Just as an additional note. Car is a 21 plate 1ltr auto estate. Charge voltage with engine running 14.6v Battery voltage after 5 mile drive 12.4v Battery voltage after sitting for 8.5 hours 11.9v
  9. Ok There's probably been quite a few posts about the batteries on the mk3 fabia forum but for some reason every time I try searching it brings up results for the whole of briskoda. Problem is as follows. I have been getting start stop errors for the last couple of months with and without the emc error light on the dashboard. Most recent it was saying that the voltage was low disabling the start stop system. Just got hold of a cigarette lighter charger that shows the battery level and as can be seen in the attached photos which were taken after the engine was started, when I arrived at work and turned the engine off and before the car was started 8.5hours after leaving work. Unfortunately where I live I have no way of getting a charger connected to the battery on the car and no safe location to put the battery on charge in the house. Driving to and from work is a 10 mile round trip all at motorway speeds and I might get to do a 100 mile round trip on a weekend with the car sitting in between each journey for several hours. Any suggestions about how I sort this one out?
  10. Decided to bite the bullet and put a reversing camera into my 21 plate estate. Looked at the cameras on aliexpress and this one came up http://Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! £36.79 | HICAMRUI Rear Reverse Camera for Skoda Fabia III 3 NJ 2014 - 2024 Canbus Dynamic Trajectory Plug and Play without coding https://a.aliexpress.com/_EyHljM7 didn't need any recoding done on the stereo and only 1 cable to run from front to back with no need to find power and signal from the wiring in the boot lid.
  11. EPC vanished today and nothing done to the car. Will have to keep an eye on this
  12. EPC light came up on the dashboard today with start stop error. Plugged ODB2 reader into the car and it brought up the following error code P011100 Intake air temperature sensor 1 bank 1 - circuit range / performance Any ideas what might be causing this? Car is still under warranty and waiting for the garage to call me back
  13. Just had this come up on my car today. Waiting for the garage to call me back as service department were busy
  14. Received the bolt needed to hold the armrest to the base so got it fitted in place. Just got the trim to fit
  15. I found an official workshop manual for the mk3 online for purchase. It covers everything that the dealer needs to do prior to delivery and everything related to servicing and maintenance of the vehicle. It wasn't too expensive to buy £15ish but it's got over 8000 pages with detailed instructions on how to do everything on and in the car. If anyone wants a copy use this link
  16. Got the base fitted today after removing all of the screws holding the centre console in place. Still a pain getting it in but it's not moving anywhere now. Realised that bolt number 27 was missing so have ordered it from eBay so should be able to get it finished next weekend
  17. Thanks for that. Got all the bits now. Just need decent weather to get it fitted
  18. I have the trim but not the bolts or the smaller tray so need a part number for number 9
  19. Does anyone know the part number for the smaller tray and the length of the m6 bolts?. Just got an oem armrest on ebay but they didn't supply the tray, bolts or plastic shroud. Managed to find the shroud on ebay after finding the part numbers for them but can't find the tray part number anywhere 😕
  20. Just purchased an original armrest for my mk3 fabia estate from eBay but it came without the plastic covers that go around the 2 sides and the back of the upright that gets fixed to the car. Does anyone know what the part numbers are for these bits of plastic trim are? Also does anyone know what size/type of screw or bolts are used to secure it to the car Cheers in advance
  21. Unfortunately I don't know how it comes off as the garage changed it under warranty
  22. Just happened to me. Does anyone know what the part number is for the drivers door handle as I want to get a new one
  23. Not long had my 21 plate fabia se automatic but would have preferred cruise control rather than the speed limiter. Was supposed to be getting it done today but the guy that skoda Milton Keynes use didn't bother turning up. As my car has the collision avoidance installed would I be able to get adaptive cruise control fitted?
  24. Just got a 21 plate automatic estate which has the 7 speed box. At 70mph rev counter sits at about 2500 and 2000 at 60
