I got better before I died thus cutting out the middle man. (and funeral expenses.)

As for the water in the foot wells it is more than likely the plastic door membranes under the door trims. Quite an easy fix as well.

Diesels are funny things. Im still thinking it sounds like an injector problem. Possibly a worn seal, dirt in the injector, could be loads of things really. They do tend to make the strangest noises when they have problems.

I just spent more money on it. As usual. It just never stops.

I went to the Nurburgring at the end of June. I was lucky enough to go in a GTR. But, I would much rather erm.... "spoil" my £4000 Fabia than a £70,000 GTR, or Porsche or just anything expensive. Plus, you can't beat thrashing a car that you have driven a lot and know all of its little bad tempered habbits. Dacia...NO! It just a dumbed down Renault/Nissan get together.

Just thought I would say a quick hello as ive just joined. I have a 2005 VRS Fabia, nothing special but fun. Although I have appeared to have thrown an awful lot of money at it in the three months that ive owned it. In fact it feels more like it owns me, in fact, I am the Fabia's bitch. Any way, as the user name suggests, it has turned out to be fairly money hungry. Hopefully soon, it will settle the hell down and can just be enjoyed, a bit like a drunk woman. Look forward to chatting to some of you soon. Not all of you, that would be too difficult....one would think.
