Yea it's still or over a year warranty left,it was a brand new engine.they say its meant to use 0.8 litres to a 1000 miles but its using about 1.3 litres

Erm kinda,still using quite a bit if oil it's in every 600 miles to be checked.had a wheel bearing changed and getting a back shocky done this week.

After being nearly pished if the road by a tractor I kerbed my dark chrome wheel on my vrs,its nit affected the chrome lip just the black spokes on the wheel.can most wheel refurb places match the exact colour or would I be best to take it to my local skoda dealer and get them to do it?

This was caused by them touching the alternator when putting the exhaust on and blew fuses

No knocking just went when driving along the road

So vrs was in getting new cat fitted due to a hairline crack in the old one.was driving along about after picking up the missus the power steering went, so switched car of tried to switch back on and all lights flashed on and off then nothing,completely dead

George.yes got it fitted with no problems and oil seems to be ok so far so fingers crossed.

I have the parada spec 2's on the front an hate them.the noise of them is so bad I though it was a wheel bearing. I'm looking at getting a new set so will be eagle f1 or Avon zz3

Well having the usual oil problem it went to Thomson and potter to get the oil breather pipe fitted ten days.went back today to get the oil checked again and it had used 2 litres.so engine ordered and going in next Monday to get it fitted

Took it to Thomson and potter this morning as I had put a litre of oil in over the past two weeks.they phoned at lunch and said they need the car over night as they are going to fit the breather pipe.will this make a difference?

There a whining noise suddenly appeared from front drivers side and sounds awful like a wheel bearing.anyone had an issue with this?

As above and what is the most recommended make?

I got prada spec 2's on Saturday and they were ok today.travel from Blairgowrie to dundee everyday for work so will see how long they last and how they perform in all road conditions

i dont really have a budget.would pay upto 200 a tyre. The linglongs are complete crap hate them. Iv used pradas,eagle f1's,avaon zz3 in the past.

What tyres are you guys running and would you suggest.needing two good ones for the front

They said it was behind the dash somewhere.an ur won't take long to do only half and hour at the most they said.im getting two tyres fitted on Saturday as it came with two linglong tyres on the front which are crap so putting prada spec 2's on.they reset indicator and stamped book.cant remember when the next one is due ill check after work

It was a 2nd service 20,000 they called it.car I two years old next month with 13000 miles on the clock.it was 133 for labour plus 98 for parts with vat on top.mud flaps were 17 per pair.have to say wasnt best impressed with them.has to go back for a warranty job as the bottom sound panel is rattling as they never had enough time to fix this problem in the day

For service,mudflaps and to bleed the brakes

so ill be going back tomorrow to get them then

Went to get mudflaps after work for my vrs and was told that the back ones dont fit vrs models and only the front ones do. Im positive iv seen VRS's with front and back on them.

Just wondering how much a service would cost??

Drove down to Morpeth for it and have to say Iv never been more shocked in my life at the pace of the car.i don't think my corsa vxr would compete,the pulling power it has is mental.will upload some photos later in the week

I'm just gonna add as I go.not after anything daft just to get over the 200bhp mark.defo gonn lower it on eibach springs,can't see past them myself and a rarb.have two prada spec 2's sitting for the front aswell.think ill go for the tmc tuning box and a intake of which I'm unsure??

been looking at the tmc tuning boxes,iv always had my maps done on a rolling road etc.take it its just plug in and go?

Collecting my vrs on saturday after selling my corsa vxr. Just wondering what you guys think is a must first mod and best places for stuff im in Dundee Scotland
