  1. Oh, thanks, but with the same code being used for both blues, that more than a bummer, it's a recipe for a disaster. So I wonder if the colour I have been supplied could be lava blue?
  2. Thanks Pete, so the colour code is OF, what is W5Q? So do you know if the colour is actually called Petrol Blue, or not? If it is, then the supplier has 100% missed up, and I may be able to get them to issue me with a replacement aerosol can of the correct colour?
  3. Yes it is but not displayed in a fashion that I can understand, it basically the Vin number along with vehicle weights.
  4. I need to purchase the correct colour touch up paint for my car. A while ago I lost one of the headlamp washer covers and sourced another replacement and found a online seller that claimed they had the right colour in stock. At the time, the weather was really suitable for spraying outside, but today it was ideal, and upon spraying the cap it is more greeny than blue. I was told that the colour of the car is petrol blue, the same as my old one. I can't go back to the seller as it was purchased before Christmas so I doubt that they would replace it, especially as I have now used some of it. The colour on the cap of the spray is about right, but the paint is not. My Vin number is TMBBH7NPXH7507815.
  5. Made a trip to RAF Lakenheath today as they were doing what's known as Quick Climb day, and it was the ideal day to test out my Christmas present from my sons, a lovely 70 to 300mm L series lens for my Canon 7D camera. Lovely clear blue skies, although it was a bit chilly in the shade. Here are some of the shots I took, a vast improvement over the old 70-300mm consume grade lens, call me impressed.
  6. Anyone with a Tesla? I hope that you make sure that the emergency bonnet catch and release mechanism is well maintained, and that you don't ever let it sit around long enough to discharge the batteries. I found this video was very interesting as even Telsa helpline were not able to help this person. I Abandoned My Tesla For 6 Months (And Not Even Tesla Knew What To Do)
  7. I had a chuckle at this video, but it could turn out to be true in a while.
  8. Yes, all his aircraft have that, he has 2 spitfires as well and he keeps them all authentic.
  9. As it was sunny yesterday, I thought that a quick to North Weald might be in order and I was in luck, my friend was there and was taking his P51 Mustang out for a flight and there was also a Jet Provost doing training flights, so here are a couple of shots.
  10. I can't even see the video, there is the black box where it should be but nothing is working.
  11. I thought this video was well worth a watch, shows Lithium batteries versus normal Alkaline ones being crushed.
  12. Tesla troubles continue.......
  13. I wonder if the CTP will find any link to terrorism. This has shown just how easy it would be cripple the country to an adversery once we go all electric as the infrastructure is on display for anybody to see. We already have Russia mapping where all our communication and feeder cables are located with their spy ship active off our coasts.
  14. I just don't buy into that theory at all.
  15. @lol-lol it is not unusual, we also see the same thing done but on an even more local level with filling stations, the more affluent an area is, the more they charge for your ICE fuel, even at supermarkets, even for your normal food shopping, they do this.
  16. Talking about Teslas, lets hope this never happens...

  19. @Stonekeeper that was twice too much, it was also breaking the speed limit.
  20. Will we ever know? Personly, I would not put it past Putin to order such a collision. Maybe a warning shot to Trump? Maybe why Trump has swung back to supporting Ukraine, maybe one day the truth will come out.
  21. Wholeheartedly agree. I don't trust my ACC at all, I always have my foot hovering above the brake pedal ready to disengage it should I need to at any time. Even if @wyx087 thinks its good enough, I don't and there will be many others out there with blind faith that because it is installed in their cars, that it must be 100% safe to use. How many people are going to die before someone wakes up and smells the coffee. But as Mark Rober's video also pointed out, Musk is now in the process of shutting down the very dept that has been looking this problem and why there has been so many crashes with cars where the self-driving mode has been activated. That is just so scary to think that such a thing can be effectively silenced, well its totally immoral in my view.
  22. I would not trust any form of self-driving car, it is software driven and surely by now we have all had some pretty harrowing experiences with software that has been tested, and yet they still get errors and bugs. Remember the millennium bug when planes were meant to be crashing out of the sky etc. Our phones, tablets and computers are all often receiving updates to cure bugs that have been discovered in the software, and very often after they issue a patch that patch has a knock on and affects something else that then requires fix and so iot rumbles on.
  23. Hmm, did you say that it happens on speed bumps? It could be suspension related, I notice that on some speed bumps mine also makes some weird noises at times.
  24. Ooer, just noticed that I never finished it, no I meant brakes may be a little slow in releasing.
