Fabia 4X4

Featured Replies

I have seen that there was an Ocatvia 4x4, but has anyone ever thought or trying to turn their fabia into 4 wheel drive. I have seen corrados and mk1 golfs converted and wonder if the golf parts from a 4 motion could be fitted to the fabia.

It gets mentioned every now and again, but there's A LOT of work involved. Not impossible AFAIK, just very expensive and time-consuming...

would be a great project but a lot of people dont have the time or them money to do it wish i did could get them torques down properly lmao

I'm sure i remember pics of one from the last Czech trip ???

Might be wrong though.

it has been done abroad but as said unless your able to do the work yourself or atleast part of it and can get the parts at reasonable cost then it will cost a large amount of money and take a lot of time.

2nd hand it cost me about £800 for a 6 speed gearbox/prop/transfer box/drive shafts/selectors, so add another pair of driveshafts, rear diff, complete rear suspension setup, exhaust, fuel tank/s. those parts are only the start of it but add in many many hours of fabrication and you can quickly see why its not really a job for your average Jo :)

would be cheaper to simply buy an A3 TDi quattro :D
