Hi all

Newbie here

Just bought a Black Octy Vrs and wondered what your favorite mods are apart from the usual chip/remap, filter, exhaust etc

Had a search round and just looking for little things to do to make it "mine"

Any other stuff from the VAG range fit it ??

Anybody retrofitted an armrest (will probs miss this most from the Audi :()

Cheers

Hello and welcome!

Rear arb, for not much money makes a big difference! Black grille surround and cupra r spiltter.

Rear ARB, Cupra splitter, Phatbox, MFD.

Armrest for me. I fitted a Golf MK4 one as i missed it massively after giving the Focus to the wife. After that i probably favour my S3 Recaro's, Very comfy on the motorway and hug you much more than the standard vRS bench's.

Fluffy dice :orb_lol: seriously though audi S3 upper & lower strut braces, Rear ARB, milotec grilles, Cupra R splitter and uprated dogbone bush are good places to start

thanks all

keep 'em coming

more browsing and found I didn't look as hard as I thought :o

armrest sounds easy, does the centre console need cutting or is it just the golf bits that need a trim ??

cheers

I think a bit of trimming is required for the arm rest IIRC

oh crap its started

Be worried, it doesn't stop:D

a nice AutoGlym Polish and Gloss. Nothing can compare to a shiney car. My absolute best mod would be the KW springs and dampers.

True!!

Rear ARB, S3 lower strut brace, DS2500 pads job done

Can you post what the quality and fitment are like when you get it.

I'm after an armrest and any feedback you can give would be appreciated

Ive seen some golf armrests fitted and there is a large metal bracket that isnt covered up at the base, thats what i'm trying to avoid.

Black B pillars. Smoked side indicators. Boost gauge, oil temp etc.

easy enough to fit with a bit of trimming for the cigarette lighter and the ashtray/cupholder with the dremel

quality is not the best TBH its certainly not VAG but it will do what I want it to :)

Nice job m8, how long did it take you?

  • Author

probably an hour or so

apologies for not doing a bit more of a pictorial, I was on a bit of a mission polishing it up

a dremel or similar is a must to fettle the trim

please ask if you have any more Q's
