Felicia Parts online? Where?

Featured Replies

Hi

I thought I'd found the perfect place - turns out the downloaded price list was June 1996 and they are no longer stocking Skoda. :(

The motor factors (local) want to charge almost £90+vat for a clutch kit for a 1.3 ......is there anywhere online that people use that won't kill me on postage and has reasonable prices?

If all else fails, I'll source the parts through my dad and he'll have to post them up, but trying to avoid that if at all possible.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Cheers!

Jorily or Butts seem likely. No idea on carriage, but if you talk to them rather than websiteing, they'll probably send anything they can by Royal Mail rather than carrier.

I'd say try a local Skoda dealer.

My whole clutch kit was £75

Although some people say you can get them for £55

I'm not sure there'll be any such thing as a "local Skoda dealer" in the Orkneys.

No, no local Skoda dealer, and Butts were phoned and they no longer stock Skoda parts, they just have what they have, but don't have what I need :(

Will give Jorily a call though and see if they can help :)

Many Thanks!

I've got a feeling your nearest dealer might be Specialist Cars in Aberdeen?

Skodashop after all that - :) not sure why I didn't try them the first time round, and the chap on the other end of the phone knew the forum too :D very impressed with his telephone manner, and very helpful too!

They're cheaper than anywhere so far, including postage, so I'm very happy, and I'm about to make a nice list, approve it with the better half - and I can get this little green machine back on the road :)

Euro Car Parts UK - European Car Parts

I got all my parts for Fabby full service & cambelt kit etc from here.

They show a listing for Felicia models.

If in doubt give em a ring (I did), nice bloke White (or some similar name) couldn't have been more helpful

Thanks for that TnT.

By all means email me the list if it makes it easier.

Thanks

Used to use Eurocar Parts for my Citroen's & the Micra's, but some things I managed to get cheaper from the Motor Factors - also they're not as nice on price for postage - especially up here :(

Just had a reply from Jorily too, dilemma time!

Right, she who must be obeyed wants the Skodashop, so the Skodashop she shall have :)(hope they don't mind) ;)

Just need to make sure my list is right first time, time to go and play and end up with a rather long wish list - but a shorter list for actually purchasing. Don't suppose anyone can think of anything that might be needed that I've not thought of? lol

I dont mind at all!

I cant think of much else you would need, to be honest.

Ill wait for your list then have a look and see if i can think of anyhting you may or may not need

From the "how not to" thread, I think you may need some suspension bolts, and if the shafts are out of the front hubs, think about (not saying they're necessary; I'm in no position to judge this) front wheel bearings. Does this model need new stake nuts or split pins on reassembly?

Since she's not glancing at the screen, if I had my way, we'd have a nice new front end, a new tailgate - new stereo (they took the stereo out the car, their new one had one already), new shocks, new arms, joints, track rod ends, new drums, 4 new tyres, new wiper blades (although we've just put new ones on the PUG and they'll fit) - grey primer and green paint. front number, spots, new number plate - and my wish list continues :) ah well - dream on me it's never gonna happen.

Still will contact you later, currently about to go back into the garage and get mucky again!

Cheers

To note - replies from Jorily came through at the same - very quick service - and although I've not spoken to the chap, emails are informative and friendly!

Wife does dictate where the money is spent though, after all it is her car :(

yeah, you need new split pins for the track rod ends

If you look on this site there's a felicia sports clutch priced at £0.00 (shipping £11.75), been at that price a while but I presume it is a mistake and no-one's tried ordering it :D I'd try order one myself for collection if I thought I'd get away with it as I am not very far from them, lol. Not the slightest clue if sports clutches would last longer or have a better bite, my understanding is they are simply uprated to deal with extra BHP from engine mods.

thought something was missing  they didn't have any in to start with, and I'm still wondering if it had any circlips on the drive shafts as they don't appear to be anywhere, and yes looked in the gearbox.
