Trying to locate the oil pressure switch on the octy as need to put in a t piece for my oil pressure gauge.

Found a pic but only gives a general area. To many hot pipes in the way.

Will have another look tomorrow before i rip all the hoses off :eek: :eek:

Is this thread of any help?

PS Just found Jon's writeup which accompanies that picture. It's pretty comprehensive.

"Get a 2 way adaptor and plug into the existing pressure pickup point. You need to keep the standard one plugged in or you get the oil pressure light on all the time. It's on the righthand side of the block, below the L shaped bit of plastic that goes round the side of the engine, near the crank case breather pipe, as per below. Remove A, shift B out of the way and follow the Arrow ©. It has a single wire going in and the connector is quite stiff. Mind you don't rip the wires out."

Thats the one i was looking at Denis. Got all the bits to do it but had a quick look for it and there is a mass of pipes there but cannot see any sensors going into the block.

Will have a proper look tomorow when i fit some other engine items!!!!!!!!!!!

I was surprised to find Mike (from Jabba) plugging in the boost gauge somewhere underneath the engine cover (can't be any more technical than that, sorry ). When asking him about it he said that the best place would be at the DV, but this was more convenient (as it was just for checking boost level after remap adjustments where made)... any of the techie guys able to confirm this?
