Last time I had my car tracked the guy said the allignment was out at the rear but not that great but said they can't adjust the rear. I have had my toyo proxes on for 4k and the inside of the tyres at the rear are now down to about 2-3mm where as the rest of the tyre is about 5 - 6mm. Not sure what I can do as can't afford to keep replacing the rears every 4k.

That's correct about the rear not being adjustable. Have you had the rear track control bushes checked? Or a slam you've not mentioned? I'm running 205/55R16 T1-Rs on a standard Elegance, and they're wearing dead evenly as near as I can measure.
