Hello this is my first time on briskoda. Have had my Octavia vrs td for almost a year now and was just thinking i should have gone with the petrol model as i only get just over 40 mpg and i think the petrol is around 35 mpg, with the price of petrol over 10p a litre less and the petrol car over a grand less i think i have made a mistake what do you think.

Welcome. What mileage do you do?

We picked the car because my wife was doing around 400/500 miles a week due to work so we liked the look of the vrs as i think its the only car we could find that looks just the same as the petrol. But within 2 weeks of having the car we found out that we had a baby on the way so at the moment she has a year off. The vrs is the first td that we have owned and i cant help thinking as good as it is that the petrol would be a lot more fun. Thanks for the reply.

welcome
