Hi all

I'm looking for some purchase advice...

on a VRS TDI

I've been to my local dealers and intial haggling has established the following prices:

Hatch £17,499 inc Met paint + free upgrade packs

Estate £18,250 inc Met paint + free upgrade packs

There definately a little more in the deal, but what would you guys + gals class a a VERY GOOD deal? I know about DTD and BS, but i'd rather go down the dealer route if possible.

Secondly....

When was/is the cut off for the PD/CR engines, as the dealer mentioned he may be able to get me a stock car? is this likely to be a PD? and will a factory order be a CR?

A dealer should be able to match or get pretty close to a DTD price in my experience.

Anything stock now will be PD and they will know the build date for the CR engines.
