Hi,

This is my first time here and I could really use some help.

I have an 04 Octavia and have a problem with indicators or the relay, not sure which. Basically, the indicators flash perfectly, but when they are cancelled the clicking continues from the hazard warning switch relay. Sometimes it only does it a couple of times, sometimes it goes on for ages. Sometimes nothing happens for a couple of days then it starts intermittently all by itself. I have replaced the hazard relay which I thought was faulty but to know avail. If I remove the fuse for the indicators, the clicking stops but the hazard warning lights still work.

Does anyone think this may be related to the indicator stalk itself or has anyone experienced the same problem. Thanks in advance for any help.

We don't normally answer questions in the intro section however I would suggest you search for info on the hazard switch.

Edit - Just read you've replaced the hazard switch.

If you have replaced the hazzard switch/relay then the fault will be the stalk.

And as it says at the top of the page...
