Remap and clutch

Featured Replies

I am currently a bit of a sleeper on here. I am running a 265 bhp wrx at moment. I have the option of a furby with a remap to approx 170bhp, will the clutch cope with this?

If not whats the highest you can get away with before you change the clutch.

Thanks in advance

This has been covered to death

power isnt the problem. Its the torque below 3K thats kills it.

I'd say on a Remapped vRS you will at some stage need an uprated clutch, be it in 5k miles or 50k miles. this is my opinion and my thoughts on the matter....

The clutch is ok, if its map'd right. We get just over 170 bhp from a stock fabia pd130.
