312's next week.

Featured Replies

Got a set of 312's from Golfturbo and have just finished painting with Hammerite Smooth Green.

Getting them fitted next week.

Bought a Gunson Ezibleed kit as this was the recommended method by many in here.

Insurance premium is up by £15 for the remaining four months. Not too bad in comparison with some I've read.

I'd appreciate any comments about initial reactions including bedding-in period, etc?

Give them around 200-400 miles depending on driving conditions I'd say. No big stops from 60mph+ (gently use the brake then let off)

dont keep your foot on the brake at stops

the difference is amazing mate

Just driven back from the garage and the difference is already evident. What an improvement and that's with no bedding-in.

Top mod, this one.

Yep, one of the better mods

Just go easy for the first couple of hundred miles. What discs and pads are you running them with?

Steve

Mine have just about finished bedding in at 350 miles.

The ezibleed system gives amazing quality braking.

My insurance didnt go up at all with Brentacre.

my insurance went up 7 quid

Hi Steve.

Long time no-speak.

I'll heed your advice.

The kit came off an Audi TT, so, whatever Audi fit to that car, that's what I'm running now. Initial impressions, as I said above, are good though.

I'm fast approaching the final hurdle - remap, August time. There's a proposed Angel Tuning GB for the Scottish Area which , if it materialises, I'll join in.

Sounds good

In that case, they're probably ATE discs and Pagid pads then. The OEM setup is more than adequate apart from prolonged hard use/track work IMO. Should serve you well :)

300+ miles now and the 312's are living-up to all that you guys've said about them.

These have just got to be near the top of the mods league.

If you're considering this mod for your furby vRS, I'd recommend you go ahead; you won't be disappointed.

Quite right. Should almost be std fitment, that's how much of an improvement they are :)

For someone running remapped power, it's a no-brainer IMO.
