Hi there!

I'm having the following problem. the main fan stopped working, and the A/C fan keeps coming on and off every 3 seconds.

Any guess how to adress this problem?

Could be a variety of things. Firstly I would check the control unit isnt full of water. It sits under the chassis leg on the n/s under the battery tray.

thanks for the prompt answer!!!, i'll into it tomorow morning. what other things should i look up to find the cause of this problem? id like to have many posible causes to look for so if i check one and that's not the one i can continue checking the other right away.

I just took out the battery tray and haven't found the fan control unit. but of course i had to run and close everything twice because of the rain... just when i have time to do this things it rains!!!

Hi there, i checked the fan control unit and it seemed ok, no moisture in the plugs. also fixed the main fan, just dissasembled it cleaned everything and it came to life, so no need to buy one for now. but right now both fans switch between on and off erratically and always to full speed. what other things should i check before replacing the FCM. it's very pricey to go buying one to find out the problem wasn't there.
