fabia vrs turbo blown...any upgrades or any help

Featured Replies

hi

the turbos just gone on my 2005 fabia vrs  which i havent had for long :finger:, does anyone know if skoda will replace this under good will as it 2 months out of the 3 year warrenty or would it be cheaper for me to buy a second hand turbo? if thats the case are there any turbo upgrades i can get while im at it?

Take it to allard's, or i think dervdoctor.

They will be able to sort you out with a pd150 hybrid turbo.

Will set you back a bit. But good for 220bhp, and will be a happy turbo.

Unlikely they'll replace it out of goodwill but it's worth speaking to the dealer that's been servicing it (assuming it's been done at a dealer) otherwise give Skoda UK a call. You might get lucky.

Thanks guys! any ideas how much the pd150 hybrid will set me back, iv been researching and some of the people on here are saying that the vt1,2,and 3 turbos are good the vt3 is cheaper than the vt2 which comes in at £795 exchange unit.

joff dont suppose you have the number for skoda UK as i cant find it anywhere

No idea I'm afraid - I think it's been posted on here before or try the Skoda.co.uk website.
