Fabia Power steering problem TRW vs Koyo

Featured Replies

I have a 2001 Model Fabia 1.4 16v.

My problem is that the servo pump is broken. The garage wantet to get a new one from Germany wich would cost me like 700GPB (I live in Norway, horrendous prices for parts)

I then startet to look for used parts on the net. The problem is that the pump in my car is a TRW electrical pump, and all the Skodas I find has Koyo Electric pumps. Are these interchangable or do I have to keep searching for the illusive TRW pump?

I have been whitout my car for 6 months now because the electrics went haywire and the dealer wantet to change the whole cable harness. I then went to another shop and got the pleasent news that the problem was just a minor thing, and they have fixed it for a fraction of the price the dealer wantet (they wanted 3500GPB for fixing it and the garage I used now only used 600GPB to fix it) But the servo is FUBAR....

Need help badly!!!!
