my rs is gone!!

Featured Replies

Well ive done the deed and traded my beloved vrs in for an ST-3 focus and it wasn't easy. I have enjoyed the last few months with it as I ripped my bilstiens off and put koni on and together with whiteline F/R adj bars and castor kit, which made so much more than skoda intended, made it hard to say goodbye. i just thought if i don't sell it now while its putting a smile on my face, i would hate it when it screwed up, which it would iam sure.

I traded it in to peoples ford edingburgh with 48k 02 yellow, all reciepts revo supersprint new brakes all round plus more. Iam sure they will punt it to the auctions due to not being std but if anyone one wants a really good clean example thats never been bashed or trashed iam sure peoples will be glad to give you a good deal.

I have only had ST since thursday and loving it. As i said it wasn't easy i also drove the Astra VXR but found the interior cheap, the mazda mps was a close cotender as performance was amazing but cabin was smaller and ride was a bit jittery, the Type r gt was by far the best handling hatch and the best quality interior feel but i am to used to the torque now so i left that for my girl to buy so atleast i can have a wee blast once in a while, the leon cupra, if it looked better, was in for the running so it only left the Focus strong smooth performance with easy cheap mod to above 280-300hp just like the mps and cupra but with more reliabilty and smoother ride. plus the noise it makes standard is just amazing.

I'll still pop in and out of site and if any members who live in fife want any parts for there cars just pop in to Essport dunfermline for 10% off:thumbup:

no mention of the golf?

The only 2 i like were the R32 and the golf 30 and since they are minimum 3k more than the other makes with no differance in actual performance or quality made no sense. I wont pay a premium for a Brand name hense i had a vrs and not a golf.
