I'm asking a lot of techy questions today!

Basically every time i log off of aol and then come back at another time , AOL opens as normal , but doesnt load any websites up at all - email seems to work fine. I phoned aol and the guy guided me through a series of changes in control panel - internet options which basically made me delete all cookies and passwords , then restore advanced settings - aol then worked fine. However , when i tried to log on just now it done it again! surely im not going to have to go through that rigmarole everytime i want to go onto the net? Any suggestions?? Obviously I lose all my passwords every time I have to do this , and its a real pain to manually log in to all the sites I visit every time!!

Under start>default programs, set AOL as default for web, mail etc. You'll need to use non MS or custom options to see AOL.

Hi thanks for the reply , unfortunately i cant find anything in default programs (in the drop down box) that mentions custom or non ms options , aol isnt listed as you said - any ideas?

You need the option "set program access and computer defaults"

MS like to change these back during some hot fix updates. Eg Vista forgets AOL is there
