My other half, has discovered her fabia'06 plate, can now function as a foot spar, in the back. I see it is a common problem. It is going in to be fixed. Can I insist on all four doors being fixed under warranty, and what about the carpets being replaced..? Also whats the DIY fix for this problem..?

I would say to the dealer that you think all the doors are leaking.

Theres a self fix guide somewhere but it pretty much removing the door card and sealing around the silver panel with some sealant.

Skoda UK have instructed the Stealers to reseal all 4 doors under warranty on any car that comes in even if only one is leaking (providing it is under 3 years old of course). The rest of us have to pay around £60 per door or fix them ourselves.
