Ooops - looks like the Mazda needs some TLC

Featured Replies

Got it serviced yesterday for the first time in two and a half years (it doesn't do much mileage now I have two kids) and it needs:

New Shocks (two leaking on opposite corners - but a good excuse to get a full set of KYB AGX adjustables:D)

Two new brake pipes:thumbdwn:

Two new rear tyres (balme RWD and roundabouts on the way to work:rolleyes:) - fine but my preferred tyres don't seem to be available anymore in the size (Goodyear Hydragrips or Eagle F1 GSD-2 in dinky 185/60 R14's:confused:)

Some bodywork repair to the nearside rear wing/sill:thumbdwn: - (did the offside about three years ago)

I suppose this isn’t bad for a 13 year old car especially given that in the last ten years of ownership all it has actually needed (other than me playing and changing things) has been servicing, consumables, one brake caliper and a catalyst.

Still not what I was expecting though...:(

never seen a leaking shocker on any Mazda before

Neither had I until I crawled under it last night when I got home. It explains a few things though as the ride seems to have got very solid recently which would tie in with the leak
