just bought a used skoda, need help!

Featured Replies

greetings skoda enthusiasts, i am new to the site and have recently bought a used skoda fabia estate 1.4 elegance (trade, but not from a skoda dealer).

it has done around 60k, and is six years old. everything seems ok but for the fact that a few times when using the air circulation on cold setting, the air comes out of the vents really really hot, and cannot be turned down. i have to open the windows to cool down! also, on my first long drive, i noticed a screw fall from under the dash on the passenger side.

i am very happy with the purchase generally, the car seems really well looked after, but i am slightly worried about how expensive it may be to fix the air circulation. it doesn't seem to matter whether we are using the air circulation function or the air conditioning - they both seem to blow hot.

any help would be much appreciated!

thanks

Hi,

It may not help but it's easy. I had a favorite with a similar problem, but it was ok if you turned the fan onto full.
