my 07 vrs octy has been parked up for the last 6 months due to work comitments it has only coverd 9000 miles, should i get it serviced? and if i got it done at a volkswagon dealer would this viod the warrenty:confused:

Don't know. Was it ordered on fixed or variable schedule? Is the service indicator (which works on time as well as mileage)counting down yet?

No issues with warranty if you take it to any garage that uses genuine VAG parts and get the service log written up and stamped.

Just make sure genuine parts are used and they are VAT registered.

"Service" light will come on when it needs servicing, weather on Fixed or variable servicing.

going to pull it out of garage tomorow and give it good trip out.
