My turbo blew on my 02 vrs octavia,anyone have a part number for it?

Has it happened to anyone?

Anyone hazard a guess at a price?

Not a common fault but there have been a few that have blown. Best bet is Ebay (ko3s turbo) but there is a company that sells them at a good price. I'm sure someone else will remember who as i cant remember the name of the company.

Be VERY careful if buying a turbo from eBay, you MUST make sure its a genuine turbo and not a cheapo Chinese copy.

The price of a KO3s 'probably' won't be a lot less than a KO4-001 or Hybrid from Turbo Dynamics or Backdraft...

..£800 - £1,200 ish.

I had one go as a result of a blockage in the oil feed line so it will probably worth changing the lines whilst your doing it
