Hi guys,

My girlfriend drove her 2003 Fabia tdi to work today and has complained that the heating only pushes out hot air even with the air con on!

I had this kind of problem on my SEAT Ibiza a couple of years ago and it turned out to be my outside temp sensor, is this whats happening to my girlfriends fabia?

I take that when you say hot you mean air above ambient temperature? and it is not a case of the air conditioning not working. Try a search for heater flap motor, you'll find a 2 pages of results, so not an uncommon problem.

It won't be your outside temperature sensor.
