New Laptop

Featured Replies

Insurance company decided not to replace the screen but instead to replace the laptop. Good News.

I am now the proud owner of a Sony Vaio TZ21MN/N

Not sure if it's any good but it does th job. Rather expensive though for the insurance company! PC World sell them for about £1400!!

Nice PC that.

Wonder if they were trying to match your CPU speed @ 1GHz, but that's very flash for an insurance replacement unless you had a Sony or similar before.

I had a very small Sony Vaio before. I think that they were trying to match the dimensions of the laptop and match the performance as much as possible. The old one was rubbish! 512meg ram, 40gig HD etc etc!

This one has 1g ram, 100gb hd and best of all, carbon fibre casing (not woven though! BOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

So far I am happy.
