Hi,

I'm due to take my VRS in for a service on Monday and was curious about the oil.

I have a receipt which shows details of the last service (previous owners). Now I have read that the oil needs to meet spec VW 505 01. On the receipt it shows only SHELL ULTRAVXBRL

Can anyone tell me what oil they used last time by that description and if it met the VW spec. Also how can I ensure they put the right stuff in this time?
