Sorry guys i bet this has been answered a hundred times before but i would like to know what the two wires are for the speakers, as in which one is live and neg. cars a mk1 VRS.

The front door speakers?

Drivers side:

BLUE/WHITE = +

BROWN/WHITE = -

Passenger side:

RED = +

BROWN/RED = -

All of them really, I replaced all the speakers in the car. In the end I noticed the Speakers had the + - markings on them and as the plugs only went in one way, the rest as Holmes would say “was elementary” :rolleyes: Although its a bit messed up to have the markings on the speakers and not the plugs... :confused:
