drive correctly and niether is an issue, drive like a prat and both will fail, and trust me by stating this i don't mean drive slow,i have 173bhp and 346 ft lbs with no weak turbo issues:D

Yet :P:D

Regarding the turbo........

as with ALL turbo'd engines, let the engine idle/warm up for a few seconds before setting off. When you do, let the engine temp to rise before going on boost.

When coming to a stop after a fast run especially, let the engine idle for a while. This lets the turbines stop spinning before you cut the oil supply.

i must admit with 346 ft lbs i am not running the standard clutch,300ft lbs is about the limit of the oe item, but do what tomo says and let the turbo warm up and cool down is very good advice:thumbup:

hows stuff phil, you still a koda owner?

Depending on how harsh your map is, yes. I'm on 103k+ now with 80k or so mapped and still on standard clutch and turbo :D

i would love to take your octy off your hands, just the wrong time for me,can't believe its still for sale, the tractor would be a better bet,bet mines faster now:P

and for the op,yes drive properly, don't get a really agressive map and you will be fine, think neovr managed over 100k miles on a re map on standard turbo and clutch, like i said originaly keep under 300ft lbs,its the torque that kills the clutch:thumbup:

It might make a difference as to what map you go for too. Some concentrate on max torque/max power while some are much more conservative. I've gone for a REVO which I reckon is even smoother delivery than the standard map!
