It's where you put your steel wheel on a lathe, use a "parting off" tool to take one side of the wheel off. You weld in a strip of the desired width and VOILA, wider steel wheels!!

they look awesome and im in a real dilemma always love back banded steels and also bbs style spilts too.. but do i go 16" black banded steels or 15" lenso bsx in black on my red fabia vrs?

There really is something a wee bit perfect about a Fabia on stealies! Can't put my finger on it but they just suit! Especially when lowered!

15's with 80-90mm dialled in on the coilovers would give it proper euro stance!

there is something perfect looking about a fab vrs on steelies!

but you'd destroy your sump within a week.....

you can't run it low enough to get no arch gap on 15's without bags, or a an engine raise, the big derv block sit's too low for daily use.

just boughts some 16" steelies to put my tyres on off my standard wheels, 205/45/16 on the back 195/45/16 on the front

Coilovers all the way down front and back, adjustors out on the back too, spaced out 10 front, 15 back, stance enjoy yourself

well I guess that's made my mind up for me! I don't want to destroy the sump.. so 16" steelies it is! get pics up ASAP dude.
