Standard of interior trim, Diesel vs Petrol VRS

Howdy, not posted for a while.

used to own a TFSI Octy II on an 06 plate.

Seriously considering returning to the Octy fold after three months in an Audi A4 Avant TFSI.

Went to try the Diesel Vrs (07 plate) and although the interior trim looked very similar to how I remembered my Octy petrol, it somehow seemed higher quality. I realise this seems like a random comment but have the interior plastics and soundproofing been upgraded for the Diesel ?

Lovely inside and nice to look at but a bit boring to drive. Fuel costs aside it only cost me £25 to run it for three months so it's not all bad
